When you “virtually” adopt one of the horses or pony that live at New Canaan Mounted Troop, your donation helps care for that animal including stabling, feed, medical, nutritional supplements, shoes and other equipment.

New Canaan Mounted Troop is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, charitable organization devoted to building leadership, responsibility and confidence through sound horsemanship.

Brown Dog Foundation

At Brown Dog Foundation, it is our mission to provide families in temporary financial crisis an alternative to surrender or euthanasia when their pet is diagnosed with a treatable, but life-threatening condition or illness, in order to restore quality of life to owner and pet.

When the family breadwinner loses his/her job or someone in the family is diagnosed with a major illness or even if the family is displaced from their home after disaster - we step in to help save the family pet by covering up to 75% of the cost of treatment or medications.

The family only pays 25% leaving the lionshare of their resources to be used for basic living needs.
