THE ART OF COMPOUNDING

Compounding is a tool that you and your veterinarian may decide to utilize to provide the best care for your animal. Compounding usually results from a need an animal may have that can not be met by commercial prescription products. Examples for utilizing compounding include: making the medication more palatable for the animal, compounding precise dosage forms and eliminating the need to crush pills ,access to medications that are not commercially available, preparing volumes and concentrations that are size-appropriate for your animal. We do not compound for food producing animals.
