Legend 10mg/ml

Legend (hyaluronate sodium) is pure hyaluronic acid, similar to the HA present in normal joint fluid. Since its introduction nearly 10 years ago, Legend is still the only FDA-approved intravenous equine joint therapy. Legend is indicated in the treatment of joint dysfunction of the carpus or fetlock in horses due to non-infectious synovitis associated with osteoarthritis.

Dosage: 4 mL intravenously. Repeat weekly for three treatments.

Prescriptions are refillable, if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year prescriptions must be updated.
