Equithrive Joint is safe, effective, and non-testable. Free your horse from pain, restore his mobility, and protect him from joint disease.
Joint supplementation limited to ingredients like Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulfate and Hyaluronic Acid is not enough. Failure to treat chronic joint inflammation causes damage to connective tissues (cartilage, ligaments and tendons) and results in long-term joint disease. Equithrive Joint is the first equine product to contain a purified form of the potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory resveratrol. This product is safe for long-term use, unlike other anti-inflammatory products that are known to have significant gastrointestinal side effects such as ulcers. Equithrive Joint also includes a bioavailable form of hyaluronic acid (HA), a primary component of cartilage and the joint-lubricating synovial fluid, which can be depleted or deteriorated with overuse, injury and/or aging.
Loading Dose: 30 g per day (4 heaping scoops). For best results, administer four scoops daily for the first seven days. Maintenance: 7.5 g per day (1 heaping scoop.) Maintain healthy joints, prevent future problems and prolong the need for direct injections to the joint. For young horses or horses in training that are currently sound. Intensive Support: 15 g per day (2 heaping scoops). For horses in heavy competition and training, that exhibit stiffness or soreness or with diagnosed injury or lameness in a joint. May alleviate pain and speed recovery. For best results divide recommended daily dosage between AM and PM.
Resveratrol is safe for long-term daily use, as it inhibits gene expression of the COX-2 enzyme without affecting the production of COX-1 enzymes and their gastro-protective byproduct prostaglandins. Rather than inhibiting active COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes circulating in the body, resveratrol inhibits the gene expression of COX-2 enzymes, thus reducing the level of this enzyme present in the body. Resveratrol inhibits a nuclear cofactor (NF-kappaB) that is required for gene expression of COX-2 enzymes, as well as many other pro-inflammatory compounds such as interleukins, tumor necrosis factor alpha, peroxidases, lipoxygenases and nitrous oxide synthases, but it does not affect the production of gastro-protective prostaglandins.
