Comfortis prevents fleas from laying eggs on your dog or in your home. Because Comfortis is not a spray or topical spot treatment, you'll never run the risk of an application site reaction, itching or irritation. Comfortis will not stain your clothing, furniture or carpets and there's no need to restrict your dog from playing with the family while the medication spreads. Comfortis may be given year round to your dog or puppy. If you give it seasonally, begin treatment 1 month before fleas become active. Give Comfortis with food.
