Conofite is an antifungal prescription medication used to manage and treat fungal infections.
Conofite is an antifungal prescription medication used to manage and treat fungal infections due to Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
Spray infected area 2x daily. It may be continued for 2 to 4 weeks depending on severity.
The medicine should be used only by prescription from a licensed veterinarian. There is possibility for the animal to develop irritation or reaction, when the medication is administered. It is recommended to discontinue the use of the medicine, in case of instances when the irritation persists or becomes severe. Personal protection should also be considered, as the drug is in the form of spray and lotion. The medicine, if happens to enter eyes, can cause extreme irritation. Make sure hands are cleaned after applying the medicine on the affected area of the animal; otherwise, there are chances for the fungal infection to spread.
