CONVENIA is a professionally administered injectable cephalosporin antibiotic that provides up to 14 days of treatment of many common skin infections in dogs and cats.

Dosing Instructions: The approved dose of CONVENIA is 3.6 mg/lb (8mg/kg) or 0.045 mL/lb of body weight given subcutaneously.Once reconstituted, each mL of CONVENIA contains 80mg of cefovecin sodium. One mL treats 22 lb (10 kg). One vial treats up to 220 lb (100 kg). A single injection of CONVENIA effectively provides up to 14 days of treatment.Occasionally, a repeat dose may be needed for dogs to ensure complete clinical resolution.Minimum age for CONVENIA use: 4 months.
