Best Friend Grazing Muzzle Deluxe

The Best Friend Deluxe Grazing Muzzle is our most popular grazing muzzle. This all-in-one design does not require a halter and uses a breakaway plastic buckle in the headstall for safety. The replacement buckle (included) is attached without sewing. Six sizes. Most horses wear their halter size.

Adjust the muzzle to the horse using the same principles as the fit of a comfortable halter. Leave approximately one-inch between the horse's mouth and the bottom of the muzzle. The "basket" of the muzzle should fit loosely for comfort and to allow the horse room to chew. You should be able to fit approximately two to three fingers sideways between the horse's face and the inside of the muzzle.

The plastic buckle on the headstall will hold in place under normal circumstances, yet will break away should your horse become entangled and struggle to get free. The Best Friend Deluxe Grazing Muzzle comes with an extra replacement buckle. To replace simple remove the old buckle and loop on the new buckle.
