Darren Chiacchia

Darren has been competing for 21 years, and has proved to be a formidable international competitor in the Three Day Event. He also owns and operates a breeding, training and sales business in Springville, New York, where he takes on young and transitional horses and trains them into some of the most notable Three Day Event horses. He has been a USET member since 1995, and won the Bromont CCI in 1999. In 2000, Chiacchia was made USET Travelling Alternate on the Sydney Team, and he was chosen to represent the US in England at Burghley in August 2001. Darren's website.

 
mario deslauriers

Mario Deslauriers

Mario grew up in Bromont, Quebec, and was coached by his father. At 19 years old, he became the youngest rider ever to win the World Cup Final. Later that year, at the Olympic Games in Los Angelas, he was involved in a 3-way jump-off for the individual bronze medal. In 1992, he won the title of Canadian Show Jumping Champion on his horse Alemao. In 1997, Mario won several Grand Prix's and again won the Canadian Show Jumping Championships. While competing at the 1999 World Cup Final, Mario was awarded his World Cup silver medal, signifying that he has competed in over 100 World Cup Qualifying competitions. His home base is the Bromont Equestrian Centre, site of the 1976 Olympic Games equestrian competition.

Joe Fargis

Joe was born April 2nd, 1948, and currently resides in Wellington, Florida. Fargis proved his riding skills by taking home two gold medals in the 1984 Olympics. He also won a gold medal in the 1975 Pan Am Games, and claimed a silver medal in the 1988 Olympics. Currently, he judges horse clinics worldwide and continues to actively compete. In 2002, he won two Grand Prixs at the Winter Equestrian Festival. A professional horseman all his life, Joe Fargis is still riding and jumping today and plans to continue for some time.

 
tracy fenney

Tracy Fenney

Tracy was born in Medford, Oregon, and began riding in Plano, Texas at age 10 at the Willow Bend Polo Club. After learning the basics, she bought a horse from Mike McCormick and began training under him at age 12. In 1983, Tracy placed 3rd for $250,000 at Culpeper. She also won $150,000 in Indio, California. In 2001, Tracy won the MASCUP series, taking home the bonus prize. In 2002, she won the $50,000 class in Ocala, Florida on her horse S&L Willie. Additionally, she won Dallas Harvest, Harvest Time, Germantown Charity, Ariat, Pin Oak, Ponchatrain, Spring Fiesta, and more. Today, she is partners with Mike McCormick at Four M Farms and continues active competition.

Kim Frey

Kim grew up in Utah, where curiosity led her to horse jumping. She has had many wins, including the American Gold Cup in Pennsylvania. In September of 2001, she won the Moore Cadillac Grand Prix in The Plains, Virginia. In 2000, she won the New Albany Classic in New Albany, Ohio. Further, on her horse, Samoens, Frey won the Columbia Classic in Columbia, Maryland. Also, she was a member of USET in the Developing Rider Tour of 2001, in which she travelled to Europe for 4 shows. In addition, she was a member of the winning team in the Nation's Cup, and was top 5 for the Nation's Cup Course of the Year. Kim now resides in Virginia, actively competing in jumping events worldwide.

Candice King

Candice, born in N. Hollywood, California, started competing at age three and was showjumping by seven years old. Early in her career, she placed in numerous championships in the Jr. Jumpers and Equitation divisions. In 1991, she won the North American Championship. She also was the first american in 30 years to win the Queen Elisabeth Cup in Hickstead, England. Candice went on to win the Lee Uwarden Grand Prix, in Holland. With her horse, John E.M., she won AHSA Horse of the Year in 2000. Additionally, King competed for the USET in several events, and was on the winning team in Drammen, Norway in 2001. She then placed 5th in the World Cup Finals in 2001, and currently competes internationally.

Mark Leone

Mark, born February 25, 1962, works at Ri-Arm Farms in Oakland, New Jersey. He won the Agiber finals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and went on to become a member of the USET in 1987. Mark has competed in 29 nations, and has cupped for the US. He represented the US in 9 World Cup finals, and won the Grand Prix in Toronto. He also brought home the President's Cup from Washington D.C. His grand prix wins include Holywood, Phoenix, Chicago, Palm Beach, and Culpeper, Virginia. Additionally, he won the Suffox County Grand Prix, and he continues his career as a pro rider.

 
mike mccormick

Mike McCormick

Mike, born in Carlsbad, grew up on a ranch in Tatem, New Mexico. Here, he received minimal instruction, and essentially taught himself how to ride. In 1976, he won the Ox Ridge Grand Prix in Midland, Texas. More recently, he won $35,000 in the World Cup Class in Los Angelas, and the $100,000 class at Ocala, Florida. Mike currently resides in Flower Mound, Texas on Four M Farms.

Bert Mutch

Born in Stanford, CT in April of 1960, Bert has great experience in showjumping. He and his father are the only father and son to win the AHSA Medal Finals (his father in 1950, and Bert in 1978). Bert also has seven career Grand Prix wins on both US coasts. Furthermore, he had the honor of representing USET in Mexico, Brasil, and Spain. Now, Mutch lives in Los Angelas, California, actively competing and working to win more west coast medals.

Ramiro Quintana

Ramiro was born March 7, 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 2002 marks his second year on the Grand Prix circuit, where he has earned many placings in the states and Europe. Currently, Ramiro works with Joe Fargis in Wellington, Florida and continues to compete regularly.

 
betsy steiner

Betsy Steiner

Betsy grew up in Kirtland, Ohio, and got her first horse at age 14. At 21, she first competed in dressage, and went on to show hunters locally. In 1988-1990, she won several shows with her horse Unanimous. Also in 1990, Betsy was on the U.S. World Championship Team in Stockholm, Sweden. On her stallion, Metternich, she competed with much success in Grand Prix's in California. Currently, Betsy is showing her horse Ranier, and is winning nearly every Grand Prix for which Ranier qualifies. Ranier qualified in the Winter Equestrian Games trials, with scores in the 70's, so Betsy may be in the limelight again soon.

Aaron Vale

Born in Dallas, Texas, Aaron Vale has made a name for himself showjumping for a number of years. He is currently a jumper for the United States Equestrian Team, with which he went to Europe in 1996 and 2001. Aaron also won the Grand Prix in Palm Beach, Florida, and claimed the Presidential Cup at the Washington International Horse Show. He is now based at MillStream Farms in Aiken, SC. Bonnie Mosser

Bonnie was born and raised in the small town of East Aurora, New York. Her youth was guided by two passions - skiing and horses. Bonnie toiled with horse showing at the lower levels until a special horse named Trelleck came into her life. Bonnie and Trelleck competed at the highest levels of the sport and their success began to draw the attention of the eventing community. Confirmation that Bonnie truly belonged amongst the ranks of the nation’s greatest riders came in April of 2002 when she and her English import named Jenga won the U.S. National Championship at the MBNA Foxhall Cup in Atlanta, Georgia. Their partnership has continued succeed on numerous occasions. The pair finished out 2004 by making their international debut at the 2004 World Cup in Pau, France. bruce davidson

Bruce Davidson

Bruce was born on December 31, 1949 in Rome, New York. Bruce began competing in three day eventing internationally in 1971. He won his first Olympic medal in 1972. He won two Olympic team Gold medals, 1976 & 1984, and two Olympic team Silver medals, 1972 & 1996. In 1974, Bruce was the first American to win the gold medal in the World Championships. He won the World Championships again in 1978, which earned him the title of the first and only equestrian to ever win back-to-back titles. Will Faudree

Will grew up in Midland, Texas. He began riding when he was 7, and at age 13, he started eventing. At age 19, he left Texas to make horse riding a career. In 2001, he was a member of the Gold medal team at the North American Young Rider Championships and finished the 2001 year ranked 3rd in the young riders. In 2003, he won 12th place at the Kentucky, three-day. While there, he was honored by being presented with the Lionel Guerrand-Hermes Trophy. Ashley Holzer

Ashley was born October 10, 1963, and began riding at the age of 13. Growing up, she received training from riding schools in West Germany and Canada. She entered her first Grand Prix in Canada, and has never looked back since. In 1988, Ashley participated in the Bronze Medal winning team in the Seoul Olympic Games. During the 2006 Florida winter circuit, she posted 12 consecutive wins. Ashley and her husband own Riverdale Equestrian Centre in New York City, where they currently reside.

Martin Estrada

Martin is a 6 goal polo player who currently resides in Wellington, FL. In 1997, he played on the winning team in the US Open. Martin has also played on renowned polo teams such as Isla Carroll, Hartmoor, and Templeton, and has won many prestigious tournaments such as the 22-goal Sunshine League, and the 20-goal Monty Waterbury Cup. When Martin is not playing polo, he is teaching as a polo instructor and operates the Palm Beach Polo Academy Polo Club in Wellington, FL.

Alex Granato

Alex was born July 30, 1983. He started riding at age nine and began competing at the Grand Prix level at age 18. Alex currently lives in Elizabeth, Colorado and rides and trains under Teri Knowlton at Wind Crest Farms. He has competed at the North American Young Riders Championships with Zone 8 for five years, and has won 13 Grand Prix classes in Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri and Illinois. He was the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 HITS Arizona Leading Professional Jumper Rider.

Cara Anthony

Cara was raised on a ranch in Bellevue Idaho. She entered her first show at age 7 and has been competing ever since. In 1983, she moved to Los Angeles where she started Potcreek Meadow Farm and began competing in the West Coast Grand Prix Show Jumping Circuit. Hap Hansen

Hap began riding at the age of 10 in LaCanada, California. In the early ‘70s, he went out on his own and became a professional rider. From there, he started competing in Grand Prixs. In 1984, he was 6th in the World Cup Finals in Berlin. Since his start, he has chalked up 97 career wins and has his eyes set on 100 career wins, a feat never accomplished before by any rider. When Hap is not on the road showing, he resides at his farm, Rancho Osuna, located in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Todd Bergen

Todd was born on May 9, 1969 in Eagle Point, Oregon. He began his career on the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) in 1993. In 1995, he earned his first two NRHA Futurity Open championship titles. In 2004, he became a NRHA million dollar rider at the National Reining Breeders Classic in Katy, Texas. He is one of only five people to have reached the million dollar rider mark in the NRHA.
