Animalintex Poultice from 3M is a convenient, ready-to-use poultice that comes in a pad, not a bucket. This unique poultice contains natural poulticing agents to promote faster healing. The pad is 8"x16" and can be used as is or can be cut to fit your horse's needs.

  • Can be used hot or cold, depending on the specific application
  • Lasts up to 12 hours
  • Can be used as a dry dressing over open wounds for pressure padding

Notes

FarmVet Tip:
Animalintex Poultice can also be used on dogs! 

Caution

Not recommended for use on cats. 

Application

  • Wet the poultice pad and apply the pad with the plastic side up
  • Hot poultices can be use for abscesses, dirty or infected wounds, cracked heels etc.
  • Cold poultices can be used for strains, soreness, sprains and bruising.
  • Dry poultice can be used over fresh open wounds as pressure padding.

Love this product! Truly works so well at getting rid of inflammation, and is super convenient that it can be cut to size and used hot or cold. All in one product! Not to mention its way easier to rinse off the next day.

Great for horses or dogs

These pads are great! I’ve always been a fan for the horses…but recently used it on my dog, who had an inflamed paw pad…couple hours later, it pulled the thorn out and his pad was normal!
