EquiRab with Havlogen is a killed virus vaccine indicated to help protect your horse against the Rabies virus. A dangerous disease that can cause inflammation in the brain, Rabies can spread through the bite of infected animals. This vaccine provides up to 14 months of protection and is safe for use in horses and foals over 4 months of age. Merck’s proprietary Havlogen adjuvant stimulates the immune system and helps the vaccine maintain suspension in the bottle.

The EquiRab with Havlogen vaccine provides protection for your horse against the Rabies virus for up to 14 months. Havlogen adjuvant helps stimulate the immune system for longer lasting protection and prevents the vaccine from settling in the bottle for consistent dosing. 
Contains neomycin, polymyxin B, and thimerosal added as preservatives.
Inject 1 mL intramuscularly in horses over 4 months of age. Revaccinate annually. Booster doses can be administered more frequently if needed. Consult a veterinarian if you think your horse may need more frequent boosters. 
EquiRab with Havlogen can ONLY be sold to the following states: AZ, CO, DE, FL, KY, LA, MA, MI, NE, OH, PA, SD, VA, WI

In addition, local laws in some areas may require a Rabies vaccine be administered by a licensed veterinarian. Please consult with your veterinarian before purchasing a Rabies vaccine to ensure you can safely and legally administer the vaccine.
For use in animals only. Store between 35 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not freeze. Shake well before using. Consult a veterinarian before vaccinating animals with compromised immune responses. 

Anaphylactic reactions may occur. Epinephrine can be used as an antidote. If reactions occur after administration, consult a veterinarian.
