Description

Gastro Aid from Cavalor helps neutralize acid production and heal stomach wounds to support horses suffering from gastric ulcers. By supporting digestive and saliva-producing functions, this supplement helps protect the stomach wall without damaging good bacteria populations in the intestines.

Details

Gastric ulcers can cause drops in performance, poor attitudes, dull coats, lack of appetites, and weight loss in horses. Gastro Aid helps combat ulcers and strengthen your horse’s digestive system in an easy-to-give supplement.

Administer

Mix in with daily grain for a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Feeding recommendations start at 30 grams per day, with a maximum of 100 grams per day. See “Notes” tab for Cavalor's Ration Calculator to determine the right amount for your particular horse.

Make sure your horse receives adequate hay or forage each day. The continual chewing throughout the day helps stimulate saliva production, which will help maintain the proper stomach pH.

Fewer signs of ulcer pain

My mare used to lash out when tacked, likely gastric discomfort, after a few weeks, she’s calmer and shows fewer stress behaviors. It seems to be helping reduce her stomach pain.

No More Grain Spillage

Before giving my horse this, she’d leave half her feed untouched or toss it around. Now she eats and finishes everything. It’s such a relief not to waste expensive grain.

Lots of Product for the Cost

For a 1.8 kg container, this lasts me quite a while, and given the positive difference in my horse’s gut, I feel like it’s a worthwhile investment rather than an extra vet bill.
