Get the pellets

by -

I don't really see a big difference yet I've only been feeding it for a couple of weeks - but I sure wish I had bought the pellets!! The powder is really fine, like talcum powder, and ends up absolutely COATING the inside of the feed tubs making a cleaning chore I didn't need at all.

Perfect for ulcer prone horses who don’t respond to other supplements

by -

We usually use Ulc-r-aid supplement for horses prone to ulcers but we’ve had a couple horses (specifically one Arabian mare and one thoroughbred mare) who did not respond at all.

While Ulc-r-aid is designed to get a horse to secrete less stomach acid, this U-Guard is more like peptobismol coating the stomach to protect it. For horses whose biology doesn’t change with supplementation and continue to have high secretion of stomach acids, this coating “peptobismol” effect is the only way!

Both mares after a week of use were finishing their grain and no longer leaving part of their meals in the buckets. They started gaining weight and keeping their top lines and behaving slightly less girthy and touchy.
