  • Contains 7.6mg per ml of detomidine hydrochloride
  • Dosage is measured at 0.018mg of detomidine hydrochloride per pound of body weight
  • Gel must be administered beneath the tongue and not be swallowed
  • Each syringe (3ml) can adequately sedate a 1210-1320 lb. horse

Prescriptions are non-refundable. Prescriptions are refillable if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year, prescriptions must be updated. Written prescriptions must include the veterinarian's license number, telephone number, and address. Federal law restricts the use of Rx drugs to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
