Description

Metformin HCL tablets are commonly prescribed to horses to manage insulin resistance and associated conditions. By enhancing insulin sensitivity, Metformin helps regulate blood sugar levels, potentially reducing the risk of laminitis linked to equine metabolic syndrome. This medication works by decreasing hepatic glucose production and may also lower intestinal glucose absorption, promoting better glycemic control. Incorporating Metformin into your horse's care regimen can support metabolic health and improve overall well-being.

Help for IR horses

by

This is working for our IR horse. It looks like he will be taking it a long time but it keeps him from having foot issues. We soak his hay daily and he seems to be doing well.
