Metoclopramide Tablets

Description

Metoclopramide Tablets provide dogs and cats with prescription gastrointestinal support when directed by a veterinarian. Prescription drugs can only be shipped upon receipt of an original prescription from a licensed veterinarian. FarmVet can accept an original prescription in one of the following ways:

Prescriptions are non-refundable. Prescriptions are refillable if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year, prescriptions must be updated. Written prescriptions must include the veterinarian's license number, telephone number, and address. Federal law restricts the use of Rx drugs to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Caution

Use metoclopramide only as directed by your veterinarian. Tell your veterinarian about all medications and flea or tick products your pet uses, especially selegiline (Anipryl) or amitraz-containing products such as Preventic collars, because these may interact with metoclopramide. Do not use metoclopramide in pets with gastrointestinal blockage or bleeding unless directed by a veterinarian. Use with caution in pets with kidney or heart disease, seizure disorders, or a history of head injury, and in pets that are pregnant or nursing. Stop treatment and contact your veterinarian immediately if your pet develops a serious or unusual reaction.
