Good General Purpose Boots

by -

I got these boots as a general purpose boot to flat in and I am happy with them. They did start to wear on the inside fetlock region and gave my horse rubs when her legs were clipped. I would recommend getting the sheepswool ones if your horses legs are clipped all the time. I do wish that they had removable liners so I could buy a new liner instead of a whole new pair of boots. They fit well, are easy to clean, and look nice. Overall I am happy with them and would purchase them again.

Carefully read the reviews before you spend this much on a boot

I purchased these boots for dressage flat work. Other reviews listed them as durable. I strongly disagree. The edges on the inside bottom of the boots showed signs of wear within 5 weeks of daily use on only 1 horse. I contacted EquiFit about any warranty information. Although they were cordial and prompt in their response, they were not helpful. The “R&D” department said it was from interference from the horse. Isn’t that the purpose of boots? I would have been more agreeable with the wear had I been using the boots for a year or more. Five weeks in unacceptable.
