Strongid-P from Zoetis is a pyrantel based wormer that will effectively control tapeworms when used twice a year at double the recommended dose. This wormer is ideal when used routinely as a base wormer within a regular worming program to control roundworms, redworms and pinworms. One tube will treat a 1,250 lb horse.

Adjust the ring to your horse's weight and lock into place. Make sure your horse's mouth is clear of food and place the syringe in the space between the teeth. Push the plunger until it stops against the locked ring, depositing the gel on the back of the tongue.
