Description

The Carbon Shield Heel Protector Boots by Veredus use their proprietary carbon fiber technology to provide ultimate strike protection for your horse’s heels. These overreach boots are anatomically shaped and made of an elastic material that conforms to the shape of the hoof. Carbon Shield Heel Protector Boots also feature double point fastening and quick release hook closures for quick, easy, and secure application and removal. These boots are not recommended for horses with low heels.

Instructions

Size Guide:

Small: Horseshoe Size 0-1 (4.5-5”)
Medium: Horseshoe Size 2-3 (5.5-6”)
Large: Horseshoe Size 4-6 (6.5-7”)

These boots are not recommended for horses with low heels.

Do their job but fall apart

These stay in place and do protect my horses heels/pasterns while eliminating the front bulk of a bell boot, but they fell apart quickly. Had them for less than a year and only used them at shows (so probably used 50 rides) and am already having to replace them.

One turns

One keeps turning and does not stay in place. Not sure how to fix it.

Love these boots!

These little boots really do a great job at protecting my horses heel bulb. He tends to overreach pretty badly and most of the time typical bell boots rub and cause issues. They don’t last super well, but I love them and I’m willing to replace more often because of how great they do their job! I have about 4 pairs :/ love the white ones, too!

Stitching poorly done

The boot itself is great. The stitching however does not hold up to wear and tear. I have had these boots for two months and the fasteners have completely separated from the boot. So disappointed as they are so expensive.
