Description

Thia-Cal calms nervous horses and will not test. Many nervous habits can be attributed to nutritional deficiencies. Deficiencies of Thiamine or Vitamin B1 are the most common causes of nervous behavior. Horses in need of Thiamine will often act irrationally, have trouble keeping weight on and be unfocused in competitions. Thia-Cal is a very palatable liquid formula that contains 500mg/oz of pure Thiamine along with calcium, magnesium, potassium, chloride and sodium.

Adequate calcium and magnesium interact with thiamine to enhance the effectiveness of the B vitamin. Chloride acts to provide an acid/base balance and potassium helps to protect against muscle weakness, nervousness, and irritability. Sodium acts as an electrolyte balance, keeping proper mineral base.

Administer

Feed 2 ounces daily on feed for 8 days for a 1000 pound horse. Give one ounce daily thereafter.
