Perfect Prep EQ Gold Pellets are an oral feed supplement engineered to calm agitated horses in stressful situations. Begin use 4-6 feedings before peak stress; while the effects begin immediately, the product is most effective when it has time to build up in the horse's system.

Administer

Mix in with daily grain meals. Effects will begin with one feeding and will peak after 4-6 feedings. 

For the average horse:
Loading dose: 2 scoops (80 grams) twice per day
Maintenance dose: 1-2 scoops (40-80 grams) twice per day

For difficult/particularly nervous horses:
Loading dose: 3-4 scoops (120-160 grams) twice per day
Maintenance dose: 2-3 scoops (80-120 grams) twice per day

Notes

For the best possible results, give a dose of Perfect Prep Gold EQ Pellets 4 hours before showing, traveling, or any other particularly stressful event!

Better than the paste!

These pellets are a lot easier to use for my horse who gets fussy with paste tubes! It works great just like the Gold Paste but my mare prefers the pellets!

Does the trick

Perfect for away from home lessons or show days. Definitely does the trick to settle down even the most anxiety prone horses. Takes the edge off without taking my jumper's motor away.

Very effective and long lasting

If your horse hates the Gold paste these pellets work great! I use them in combination with their Training Day powder to achieve desired results. You have to experiment at home to see which product(s) work best for each horse. Perfect Prep has a guide on their website showing how to use their calming products and how to layer them if necessary. I make sure I have this on hand for all serious events.

Useful supplement for relaxing

I have used this on some tough to get quiet horses. I increase or decrease amount based on work load. I find the product very easy to use and the horses always eat it!!

Works Great!

My horse doesn't like the loading dose. So we start him 3 days early on the maintenance dose. It honestly works great. He's more relaxed in the show ring and is able to focus on what's being asked of him. We've used it at two shows so far. We didn't use any additional pastes, and he was totally fine with just the pellets. I'll be keeping these on hand for future shows for sure.
