Today Mastitis from Boehringer Ingelheim is an intramammary treatment used to help manage clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cows. Formulated with cephapirin sodium, it targets common gram-positive bacteria associated with udder infections. The ready-to-use plastic syringe allows clean, direct infusion into the affected quarter for efficient application. Supporting udder comfort, improved milk quality, and overall herd productivity, this treatment helps reduce somatic cell counts and supports faster return to normal milk flow. Today Mastitis is widely used in professional dairy herd health programs focused on mastitis prevention, udder health, and consistent milk production. Always follow proper handling, withdrawal times, and veterinary guidance.

• Use only on lactating dairy cows diagnosed with clinical mastitis.
• Infuse one syringe into each affected quarter immediately after milking, when the teat canal is open.
• Clean and disinfect the teat end thoroughly before inserting the cannula to prevent introducing additional bacteria.
• Insert the tip gently and administer the full contents of the syringe into the teat canal.
• Massage the udder upward to help distribute the formula throughout the quarter.
• Repeat only as directed by the product label or your veterinarian.

Follow all withdrawal times, milk discard periods, and veterinary guidance. Use strict sanitation practices during treatment to protect udder health and milk quality.

Prescription drugs can only be shipped upon receipt of an original prescription from a licensed veterinarian. FarmVet can accept an original prescription in one of the following ways:

Prescriptions are non-refundable. Prescriptions are refillable if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year, prescriptions must be updated. Written prescriptions must include the veterinarian's license number, telephone number, and address. Federal law restricts the use of Rx drugs to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Do not use milk for 96 hours after last treatment with Today.

Each 10 ml syringe contains 200 mg of cephapirin activity as cephapirin sodium.
