Vetera Gold XP protects your horse against multiple equine diseases with broad-spectrum vaccine coverage. This powerful vaccine defends against West Nile virus, Eastern and Western equine encephalomyelitis, tetanus, equine herpesvirus (EHV-1 and EHV-4), and equine influenza. Administer

Prior to injecting, properly cleanse injection site using the antiseptic technique. Give 1mL intramuscularly. Give a second 1mL dose intramuscularly 3-4 weeks after the initial injection, in a different injection site. Vaccinate again every year with a single 1mL dose, or prior to suspected exposure. Shake well before use.

Notes

Always consult your veterinarian before beginning a vaccination plan. As with most medications, side effects are possible. A temporary reaction at the injection site is the most common side effect. 

Caution

Follow instructions carefully. DO NOT FREEZE. Shake well before use. Store away from light at 35-45 degrees. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

How should Vetera Gold XP be stored and handled before use?
Store this equine product refrigerated between 35–46 °F (2–8 °C) and do not freeze. Shake gently before use to ensure proper suspension. Once a multi-dose vial is opened, use all contents at that time and do not mix with other products.


Can this product be used with horses that are pregnant or breeding?
According to the manufacturer’s information, Vetera Gold XP is labeled for horses 4 months and older, including pregnant mares. However, it’s recommended to consult with a veterinarian before use in breeding or pregnant animals so you can align use with broader care plans.
