Velocity Equine Carnosine Emulgel

As a bodyworker for 13 years, I am always on the lookout for new tools, techniques, and educational opportunities that will make a powerful impact on my equine clients’ well-being. Velocity has become one of my favorite products and is the only topical product I carry and use during my sessions. I am thrilled with this product as it is a dual-use product for me; it is effective in aiding the repair of muscle tissue and also works well as a massage emollient- providing nice glide in the beginning and grip as it works in. It is my preferred product for clients to incorporate when doing follow-up massages on their horses’ trouble spots. I have never been interested in carrying products to endorse. I always feel confident when I recommend Velocity because I really love it and have seen results.

This is a great pre and post-performance treatment for your horse. Elsa gets it on her back and shoulders and neck before and after competing. You can also use it on legs. There’s nothing else quite like it and I’m so glad it’s back in stock!!

I love velocity gel! I have a few horses at the moment who are older and suffer from old injuries. I use this gel under wraps and on their bodies to help keep them feeling their best. Legs stay tighter and there is no mess to clean up in the morning after we pull wraps. I also use it on stifles, si’s and hocks!

The velocity gel has become my go-to product to use for my thoroughbreds in prep for yearling sales. At that age, they often come up with swelling, stiffness, and growth-related issues. The clear gel formula is mess-free and works fast. This product is twice as good as the next best thing!

My 12 year old mare has suffered suspensory injuries on both front legs. She’s had all the regenerative therapies, surgery, and all the liniments and poultices produced. She has struggled with skin sensitivity and allergies since birth making it impossible for me to wrap her legs with almost all poultices and liniments, especially any with a hint of DMSO. After being diagnosed with a suspensory injury on her right front this past fall, shockwave was performed, and Surpass was applied - but it was Velocity that the most dramatic improvements were seen! Not only did her legs not swell during the application, but her skin didn’t blister either. It only required a minimal amount of Velocity to see the positive change. I am so impressed with this product!

I have been using Equine Velocity for a few weeks on my 20-year-old Adult Jumper mare on her back legs and back. The stocking up in her back legs is reduced, her back is less sensitive and her lead changes are noticeably smoother. I will be using it on my other horses as I see the need. I highly recommend it!

10/10 will recommend! I've used this on my horse before lunging, and have forgotten to apply when I've been in a terrible hurry. The difference in his ability and willingness to stretch and use his back is amazing. When I apply it to tighter spots, he always instantly releases (licking, chewing, yawning, snorting, farting - you name it, he demonstrates it). How do I know it was Velocity and not my magical hands? As any good owner, I used it on myself after leg day. I knew I needed extra help when I was already feeling the burn half way through the session! So applied it before continuing, and I know where I missed a spot in my application! Velocity absorbed so quickly, and was not greasy after, I was so impressed. Instant recovery, as I was able to wear heels most of the day and not feel sore, and definitely was good to go the next day! \

I started with Equine Velocity to try to bring down some stubborn swelling after lymphangitis. It is now an absolute staple of our daily routine!! It worked wonders on my boy's legs, but not only that, I started to use it on his back (he has kissing spines) and during hot towel rub-downs. He feels amazing and is working better than he ever has before!! I absolutely wouldn't be without it now! Highly recommend!!

I purchased a bottle in hopes of keeping my mare’s back looser between bodywork visits. She tends to get spasms right over her lumbar region as a result of spinal crowding and stifle weakness. It has really worked wonders, with her back flubbery and loose when used before and after a ride. I think it’s pretty amazing stuff, and if your horse suffers from similar problems, it is most def worth a try. Thanks Velocity!

As a professional rider, I have tried many different liniment-type products. Nothing compares to how well Velocity works. My horses are looser through their backs, and their legs are nice and tight, even after a heavy week of showing. I love that Velocity is Show Safe to use and absorbs quickly into the muscle. I apply 60 minutes before work to support muscle performance and then after for muscle recovery.
