Description

Sucralfate Powder is a locally acting treatment for gastrointestinal ulcers. It has a local effect directly on the erosion or ulcer in the stomach lining. As a result, Sucralfate must be given orally. Once given, it forms a type of “bandage” over the ulcer sites.  This bandage forms a barrier at the site and protects the ulcer from further damage caused by stomach acid. This version of Sucralfate is a powder with a calibrated scoop to meet your individual needs.

Due to demand and our efforts to get you our most popular compounds easily, we will only have a small portion available online in certain flavors. If you need a specific compound that you can't find on our website or have a special flavor request, please email us at info@farmvet.com.

Stomach Support in Stressful Situations

by -

I give Sucralfate before hauling and shows. It keeps my horse's stomach comfortable during classes or trailering to and from. Great way to keep ulcers from festering and bugging them more.

Post-Colic Treatment

by -

After a mild colic episode, we added Sucralfate to his recovery plan. It helped any lingering discomfort, and it did the trick. I’ll always keep it on hand now.

Ulcer Preventative

by -

We were struggling with bad gut discomfort, and Sucralfate really helps settle things down. It blocks the acid from making ulcers worse when the horses are under stress.
