GastroGard, also known as Omeprazole for horses, is highly effective at healing gastric ulcers in horses and preventing their recurrence. The efficacy of GastroGard was demonstrated in male and female adult horses and foals in a variety of clinical and field settings.

GastroGard is a highly effective inhibitor of acid secretion in horses, creating an intragastric environment in which ulcer healing can occur.

*Price listed is per single tube of GastroGard.

Other gastric products attempt to coat the stomach lining, while GastroGard inhibits the proton pump, which is what produces stomach acid. From start to finish, GastroGard has been tested and approved as safe and effective by the FDA. GastroGard is the first and only proven FDA approved medication for the treatment and prevention of gastric ulcers.

Administer one tube of GastroGard daily.

A Must Have for Show Horses

All of my horses clients benefit from GastroGard. We show year round and could not make it through the season with happy bellied horses without it! If you even think your horse has ulcers, get a vet out to get them scoped and get them started on the ONLY treatment for ulcers.
