Administer

Mix in with daily grain feedings for as long as treatment is needed. Dosage recommendation is 1 oz. (2 pumps) per day, with a maximum dosage of 2 oz. (4 pumps) per day recommended during periods of particularly high stress or exertion.

For best results, divide the horse’s necessary daily dose in half and administer twice per day.

The number of days a bottle lasts depends on how much you feed. A 64-oz bottle typically has about 128 pumps. At the regular maintenance dose (1 pump in the morning and 1 pump in the evening), this lasts about 64 days. If you give a higher stress dose (2 pumps twice daily), it lasts closer to 32 days.

Can Vitalize Alimend be given during stressful periods, such as shows or travel?
Yes. Owners often increase the daily amount during times of increased stress, travel, training, or competition. For those periods, you can use a higher dose (2 pumps morning and evening) to support comfort. It can be given during or after mealtime to fit easily into your feeding routine.

Does Vitalize Alimend change the horse’s stomach acid or digestion process?
No. Unlike products that neutralize stomach acid, Vitalize Alimend is designed to work with the horse’s biology and does not alter natural stomach acidity or disrupt digestion. Great for Ulcer Prone Horses

My vet recommended alimend to me and I decided to give it a try for two of my ulcer prone horses. I noticed that both of them finished their grain better, their coats became shinier, and they are much more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great daily ulcer treatment

I had my mare on daily omeprazole and after reading all of the long-term effects on bone density and acid production I decided to risk it and change it to alimend. I am so glad I did. I have noticed no change in my horse since the change. If she has a particularly stressful day like a horse show, ill give her 2 pumps but I 100% recommend it.

Great for show horses

I don't think I could say enough good things about this product. My vet recommended it because of the long term effects associated with Omperazole. I put all of my show horses on this and I have noticed amazing changes. They all are eating better & they are looking great. I recommend this to every horse that comes into my show barn.

Great alternative to omeprazole

My vet recommended I try this to avoid long term side effects of omeprazole for my show horses. I did 30 days of Ulcergard and then moved to this daily. My horse hasn't shown any more signs of ulcers.

Highly Recommend This Supplement

Great Gut Health Support
